Female led relationships discussion

After reading through numerous interventions—especially those from the Ladies—I’ve been wondering: does an FLR require a little (or even much) cruelty towards husbands? It’s not about whether they like it or not. The real question is whether some degree of cruelty is unavoidable in certain situations.

I believe all ladies care for their husbands; that goes without saying. But with this new power dynamic, the transfer of authority from husband to wife: does it necessarily involve a touch of cruelty? When a Lady disciplines her submissive partner, is there a bit of sadism involved?

If so, doesn’t that imply some level of indifference towards the husband (i.e., being somewhat unconcerned with his pain while disciplining him…)?
