Birdlocked discussion

I recently worked this out. My old CB-6000 had major problems, particularly with slipping out, so my partner and I bought a birdlocked. I received it last week and it’s excellent, though there was still the possibility of slipping out, and naturally, the pin kept breaking off. I experimented with several methods to keep it in place, eventually getting creative: I loosely bound the ring using double-sided velcro (the kind used for wire wraps), then secured the entire base of the device by placing the largest ring assembly from the CB-6000 over that—essentially everything except the cage itself. It’s a bit tricky to put on and take off, but once it’s in, it stays completely secure unless I really want to rip it off. Even when physically trying to pull out, I can’t dislodge the birdlocked.

So far, it seems like a fantastic, reliable solution. Plus, no more broken pins! Thought I’d share this with all you Birdlocked owners here!
