*(This topic started elsewhere, but I feel it deserves its own thread, so here goes.) While I agree that some folks simply appreciate kink like they enjoy a good blow job - a pleasant bonus rather than a necessity - I believe for those of us pulled toward FLRs, it is practically indistinguishable from being an orientation: not merely a preference or liking, but something fundamental to our identity.

Speaking personally, I have always been interested in submission and slavery, drawn strongly to powerful women long before I was aware of sexual feelings. In High School, I hovered around the high-dominance girls - much to my embarrassment - teasing them just enough to provoke a delightfully angry response from them. And no, I had no clue what I was doing.
