Has anyone else gone through this? I was discussing with him how the cage affects his feelings. He mentioned that at one of his early jobs, he had to wear a uniform. When he first put it on, it felt odd. But after a few weeks, it became routine and shifted his self-perception, giving him a fresh sense of Identity.

He explained that the cage works similarly for him. The constant reminder that he belongs to another person has reshaped how he views himself over time, forging a new identity. So yes, I believe wearing a caged device can alter your Identity as you wear it.
