Novices and newbies discussion

New to this. I’m currently wearing my second cage, purchased from Amazon, and it’s now day five of being locked in. My first one was a silicone disaster that dug into me by the second day and never recovered. This new one fits much better. Still, I’m unsure if it’s as good as it can be. When soft, this cage sits comfortably on my body. However, when erect, I swear my testicles sometimes turn blue. At minimum they darken and swell up, with the main ring pulling against them painfully. Unfortunately, my phone struggles to capture this well. My question is: is this normal? Or should I look for something that fits me better? For a visual reference, I have pictures of me in my cage both soft and hard. Looks pretty normal to me. But when soft you seem to have a fair bit of room in there. With a tighter fitting cage your erection should be more restrained, which might put less stress on your testicles.

Especially with this though, I'd rather be paranoid and wrong than ignore a problem. Will definitely consider a smaller cage.
