Sorry if this has come up before; I just couldn’t track it down using the search tool: Does anyone know where to buy a pendant that can keep her key hidden or semi-hidden for daily wear, with shipping available to the UK? The key is a long integrated/magic locker type. I recall seeing one in the past where they would take your existing key and cut it down for you, but I’ve lost track of it. It’s intended for my wife as an anniversary gift this April; she currently keeps both keys hidden herself. One has been placed inside a tamper-evident case that I can retrieve when I travel for work if necessary. She has possession of it now. I also purchased a bracelet to present to her at the same time. It’s made of vanilla material but might draw some remarks if people ask about it. Any guidance would be appreciated as she is much more engaged with keyholding and its ‘rewards’ this round, and I wanted to find a way to connect with and thank her without appearing to take charge from below. That was likely my post, or I'm the lucky one who got the key:) I haven't cut any more keys since then, but I do have a "blank" key listed for sale in my shop that you can get customized to fit your current lock, provided you locate a locksmith who has the older style cutting machine. It comes in various materials here - the one you likely saw photos of was finished in Nickel Steel. I've attached an image showing just the key itself; it looks great on @KHCouple4517, but I don't want to steer your attention away:) I hope this helps - I discovered that having it shipped to me for processing and then sent on to the UK adds extra time and expense, since Shapeways can deliver directly there.
I need a pendant that conceals the Lori key. It uses a Torx style driver bit. The closest options seem to be urn ash holders or pill containers. I want jewelry pieces that look chic and fashionable so my wife can comfortably wear them everywhere.
Thanks @JosieLynn Jewell I'm very tempted to buy it. My only hesitation is that I think my keyholder might want something that says working key. Though maybe that's more on my part... My finger is itching over the payment button!
@JosieLynn Jewell So I ordered one thanks:D In polished silver. By chance I gave my wife the key back on a spare cord I own and she just draped it across my chest whilst showing her - well lets just keep those details between me and her;) Anyway as she liked keeping the key there I suggested I could get her a better one for our anniversary and she seemed most keen. So thanks! Now just need to find an appropriate chain!
Thank you for your support! Once you get it, take it and your current key to a locksmith and get it cut to the pattern of your current key, it's designed to be functional!
@JosieLynn Jewell I/we will ...:)
