Grab some popcorn (air-popped, no butter, light sea salt. Pay attention, Miss Rommely!)
As mentioned in other threads, P and I are relatively new to chastity and the FLR concept. Domestic Discipline is another fresh addition to our marriage right now. There’s currently a list of infractions posted where I can (and will) face discipline at home, but P has complete freedom to punish me for any infraction, whether it appears on that list or not. On top of this, I work with a professional disciplinarian who helps address sins bigger than what falls within the scope of our FLR dynamic. Up until now, her help has mostly focused on repairing harm caused by selfish habits from decades ago. She strongly advocates for healthy eating and body care. She scolds me verbally and disciplines my body physically—for instance, over drinking soda.
So, that sets the stage for the rest of this update.
Between P and my disciplinarian, there have been several recurring issues I’ve had to answer for regularly. Nothing extreme or wildly transgressive, just simple things: leaving the toilet seat up. Peeing while standing (P forbids this whether I’m locked or not). Poor diet choices. Swearing. Not complying with tasks. Backtalk. Topping from the bottom. Masturbating. You know, typical behaviors of an undisciplined man in his daily life. If you check out my gallery, you’ll see clear proof of the discipline resulting from these habits. Trust me when I say that getting to those states involved real pain—sometimes almost unbearable.
Recently, though, I’ve noticed a change. The toilet seat is down; I pee sitting down; my diet has shifted dramatically; swearing is rare (and I still report it if P or my disciplinarian aren’t around); I do what I’m told and try hard to please; and I stay quiet—trusting that whatever P or my disciplinarian decide is right for the moment. Because I am locked, masturbation isn’t an option, so my energy goes elsewhere. As both P and her colleague have pointed out, I feel like a different man now, heading exactly where they want me to go.
Here’s the core of it: At first, I followed rules because I didn’t want to endure the tough discipline these two women deliver. They know how to cause pain, and they aren’t shy about it. The physical reminder of their intensity lingers for days or even weeks. But lately, I find myself behaving not out of fear of punishment, but from a desire to please. For example, when I consider having a Coke now, I remember the promise I made (under heavy pressure) to my disciplinarian and choose water instead. When sitting to pee, I think of P and how this keeps the seat down for her convenience. If I feel like correcting someone or backtalking, I stop myself—not just to avoid physical penalties, but because both these women have taken me under their wing and deserve my cooperation in return.
In short, I behave more out of respect and desire to please than fear of discipline. With P especially, it comes from a deep love for her unlike anything else I’ve known. The need for active discipline has dropped significantly, while behaviors that honor these women’s presence in my life have risen prominently.
Now for the questions: For those whose actions are guided by domestic or other forms of discipline: Have you seen this shift in motivation? What does it mean to you? To those who administer discipline: Are you aware of these changes as they happen? Do you appreciate them? How do you react? Everyone, what’s your take on all this? P and I are new at this process, so finding out about this internal change has been quite a revelation. We really didn’t expect it.

I see the transformation you're experiencing as precisely what domestic discipline is meant to achieve; for me, this proves that the system works. Eventually, with only rare exceptions, P will discover she needs little more than routine periodic maintenance to preserve and support your ongoing growth.
> Rectrix, Thank you for such a wonderful reply. This whole process has been quite the journey. I finally have permission to be the submissive man I've wanted all my life. P grants this freely and nurtures my submission without condition. She has evolved into not just my "Schoolyard Bully" but also an "evil angel," holding me with great love along a razor-thin path she designed specifically for who she wants me to become—a strong, character-filled submissive man. Now I live to embody that identity. The discipline hurts, and yet I welcome it gladly. It's fascinating to consider scheduled maintenance driven by continued good behavior rather than strict enforcement. That sounds lovely! Jamie
