I’ve long been a strong advocate for the group of Women who have voluntarily confirmed their identity to @L-u-c-y. I also want to offer great praise and thanks to those Ladies who have bravely taken this step. It isn’t easy, I’m sure, revealing parts of Yourself in public view, but from my perspective as a submissive man, you greatly enhance the community’s strength. The variety of dynamics on CM is what makes it such an excellent site. It is mostly elegant and informative (despite some occasional misbehavior), and in my brief time here, I’ve seen its quality continue to rise. It has a familial feel, with all its quirks and occasional disagreements, yet few other sites match the high standards of CM. Thank you Verified Women for guiding us toward improvement.
Well put @henry58 I don't understand why anyone who is qualified wouldn't just go ahead with verification. It remains a private matter between the member and @L-u-c-y, aside from the banner display. It also grants access to the Verified Only section, which everyone can view even if not all members are allowed to post there.
My P has become an incredibly private woman regarding sexuality. Even with electronic anonymity, she is always watchful for potential intrusions into that space. Like many others, she grew up in a family where sex was hidden and often disapproved of. I believe this secrecy has persisted throughout her life. It likely contributes to why she remains the quiet observer among those (I) who post here. Regarding the original topic: HERE HERE! Love and respect go out to the wonderful women who verify. Each of you should recognize your value to our community. Let us not forget our Supreme Ruler L-U-C-Y, who presides with firm strength and grace. Jamie
I also believe it is OUR good fortune that certain members have chosen to join us and share their insights into something many of us keep secret from almost everyone else. I can see how some might feel daunted by the idea of verifying as a female member, perhaps even feeling slightly off about it in some ways. However, given that we've been fooled before by males pretending to be females, it is understandable that verification has become necessary in today's society. That said, not every potential female member will want to go through the trouble of proving herself, and that is her choice; I respect whatever path she takes. This also means we men who visit here need to respect those choices, rather than recently starting to question someone's status as a female just because they didn't verify. I think we all could use more mutual respect in life. If someone posts an article, and we choose to believe or doubt it, we should simply read it if we wish, offering support or help when needed, or moving on if the content doesn't interest us or clashes with our own views of right and wrong. The funny thing is, having been here for so long, you see many things written; some you might accept while others you don't. What resonates with me most is that to the poster, they are expressing something exciting just as we did when we first started our journeys. Just because we may have seen or heard it before doesn't mean we should forget the pleasure and excitement new explorers hope to experience.
