Introductions discussion

Hello everyone. I figured it was high time I stopped lurking around, signed up, and introduced myself! A couple of weeks ago, after months of pondering the FLR/Femdom concept over Christmas—specifically during a certain party where I realized how naturally submissive I am at heart—I finally worked up the nerve to share my feelings with my girlfriend. She had no clue what FLR or Femdom meant, so I sent her some Tumblr posts for her leisure reading. (She’s got dominant tendencies by nature, though not of the whip-and-chains variety; more like kiss-my-boots kind of dominant. Still pretty open-minded.) A few days later, she agreed to give this lifestyle a shot on her own terms, at her pace and according to what felt right. We’re still in the early stages now. We are both adjusting to the obvious shifts, but we agree that this change is here for good—for now—and are eager to see how things evolve. It’s a learning process for us both; it’s thrilling yet somewhat intimidating in a positive way. She has reminded me several times that this lifestyle is serious business and not just play after I slipped back into old habits once or twice… I look forward to learning, becoming a better partner/submissive, and sharing my journey along the way.
