“It just popped up out of nowhere. I’m not sure what got into me, but I jokingly mentioned to my wife that we already have something like an FLR going on semi-seriously. She took it seriously and agreed.

So far so good? No, she replied that this might explain why our intimate life is lacking because she feels she’s basically acting as the parent.

It wasn’t really the moment for a deep dive, so we left it at that. But hmm, I’m not convinced by her view.

And that brings me to my question: how should i proceed? Should i proceed?**

Nothing has materially changed in our daily life; she’s off on holiday with the kids next week and i am still working. Not sure if that matters but it gives some breathing room. Thanks everyone.
