We’ve been practicing full-time chastity and shifting toward a Female-Led Relationship for the past two years, though we take occasional pauses along the way.
Our most recent break was quite long. We were traveling abroad and didn’t want to create fuss in the airports while wearing our devices. During that time, I realized just how much I missed serving her. It turned out I have a strong service-oriented submissive nature deep down—a realization that surprised me since she initiated this path and I accepted it without knowing myself as well as I do now.
The break really highlighted this need in me; my desire to serve is genuinely rooted in service itself.
After discussing it, she’s starting to embrace my new, expanded role. In fact, she loves it. I remain the strong man she married—the ex-logger, pipeline welder, aircraft mechanic, computer designer, and dad—but now everything I do centers on serving and pleasing her. I feel whole. I’ve always handled much of the housework and childcare; I just never labeled those acts as anything more than being a good partner.
If you and your partner have experienced an imposed break, did it reveal something new to you? Do you believe occasional breaks add value?
Yes, I agree that breaks are valuable for the reason you mentioned—they give us a chance to step back and evaluate, consider our feelings, and understand each other better. Congratulations. I hope things continue well between you both.
