I picked up Tickleberry’s Spiral about a month back, which turns out to be the Gerecke Twister 2. It hasn’t seen much wear because it feels a little loose on me.

The cage diameter is oversized, and I suspect my 45mm ring might also be too large. Since my testicles hang low, an erection causes the cage to slide down about an inch along my shaft; conversely, when things shrink up again, it’s easy for me to slip out of it.

I’m thinking of purchasing a hinged 40mm ring from Gerecke. Still, given how low my balls sit, I question if that will help much. So, I’m weighing selling my current Twister 2 in favor of ordering a custom cage directly from them with a 30mm diameter instead of the standard 38mm. Hopefully, this tighter fit will hold onto my shaft better, preventing both sliding and accidental removal.

That said, what length should I aim for? My Tickleberry cage is currently 85mm long. Should I measure based on where the ring rests low on my scrotum now, or from the base of my penis? I’m unsure if even with a snugger cage and ring combination, it will still slide down an inch because my low-hanging testicles don’t fully stop the ring’s downward movement.

Ideally, I want a length that leaves almost no room for erection. While I know piercings offer more security, I definitely have no intention of going that route.
