Difficulties with wearing a device? discussion

Hello there. I just picked up a Cherry-Keeper (the long, wide model with a 47mm base ring) from Josielynn’s shop on Shapeways. The fit seems ideal: no pinching, easy urination, and it hurts nothing even during an erection (or when trying to get one:) ).

That said, my only issue is that my balls turn purple quite quickly when I’m excited. Reading up on it, this seems normal; as long as the erection doesn’t persist too long, I should be okay. But what about erections at night? I really don’t want to wake up feeling castrated due to restricted blood flow over several hours.

I haven’t tried sleeping in the device yet because of that fear, but I think pain wouldn’t be an issue during the night. So my main question is for those who sleep with their cages on: do you get this discoloration too? Is my worry justified?
