How much of the fetish lifestyle is just joining a site dedicated to it and mimicking what others do, almost like sheep?

For instance, if you had never seen anyone else licking someone’s boots would it ever occur to you?

I’m constantly bombarded with messages from men saying they want to lick my boots and heels. It feels as though they have no imagination; they just copy what they’ve seen others say or follow a script of a predictable femdom story.

Things like kneeling before a superior is logical—animals show deference to the leader of the pack. Serving and doing useful things is also logical. I wonder if there are fetishes that no one actually enjoys, but both sides just do them because they’ve seen others do them and think “it’s what you’re supposed to.”

Quite right. They are simply cliches. Everything has its share of cliches. In crime fiction, for instance, it's always a dog walker who finds the dead body. It's either laziness or people who don't know what they're talking about and just copy. Lazy or fraudulent. Neither is worth bothering with. Which, naturally, you aren't...

A lot of human behavior involves copying what others do. It is a form of imitation.

The fact that it fails at that by your judgment does not affect the intent. But, in this case, you have two things feeding the **fetish**. One is the lady's foot. Two is her boot or shoe. Both objects carry strong appeal which can drive many males to engage in ventures that are pointless or even counterproductive.

There are many things I would do if required. But thinking of licking boots doesn't really turn me on. I think there are many guys who feel the same way. They try to get off to things they are "supposed" to enjoy because they saw it in porn. Unfortunately, you seem to be a magnet for them. But there are men out there who know themselves and what works for them.
