I was gasping for air, drenched in sweat, and trembling. Speaking became a chore because my throat felt parched and constricted. My muscles seized up; I couldn’t spread my fingers or straighten out my toes. The harder I pushed against it, the more worried I got about losing control. I was utterly bewildered, feeling like I had blacked out since the final twenty minutes of our session slipped into a fog that remains unrecalled even now. Even with the cramps, my body felt weightless and tingling, especially around my core and chest, and this “numbness” lasted well into the night. Physically and emotionally, I was on edge for hours afterward. Her gentle voice and tender touch calmed me down, holding back tears of frustration. She reassured me and steered me safely through it all. It left me drained. I’ve felt some of these sensations before with my SO/KH, though much more mildly. But last night was a different beast entirely—it felt like I landed on another planet. This time, sub space went very deep for me. Despite the depth, today I feel great without any sign of sub drop. I’m refreshed and mentally sharp, save for that persistent ringing in my ears. I’m incredibly lucky to have her as someone I can trust completely, who shares these moments with me and guides me into such lovely surrender. Truly fortunate!
