Chastity in vanilla life discussion

For the ladies in particular (I know some guys will chime in). What would happen in this situation? Getting kids (8yo & 6yo) to bed. The little one has been difficult, demanding Mummy apologize for what seems like an insult (I suppose it was just saying it’s time for bed). Finally, she manages to calm the 6-year-old down. While Daddy is tucking in the 8-year-old and helping with the younger child, he pops into the room to say the dog has escaped and bolted down the street (Daddy suddenly recalled there were books in the car for his older son, went to retrieve them, and accidentally let the dog out). So, once both kids are asleep, what becomes of Daddy?
