Difficulties with wearing a device? discussion

For the past few weeks, my Love has insisted that I keep my cage on around the clock. Beforehand, she allowed me to remove it at night so she could have free access whenever she wanted. But after noticing how much wearing it continuously affects my demeanor, we’ve changed things up: now the cage is only taken off for a brief time each week just for cleaning.

Keeping the cage on 24/7 has been wonderful, though I am dealing with a small patch of skin irritation or abrasion underneath my penis. The area measures about 3-5 mm and sits right where the rings of my MCN Contender are welded together. There aren’t any rough patches visible on the material itself (Marks’ craftsmanship is excellent). My only lubrication routine involves applying some Vaseline to the base ring, while the shaft remains dry.

Has anyone else dealt with this? I recently had to take the cage off because the spot turned open and slightly red. Would it help if I also used lube on my shaft?
