I purchased two high-end units from (“Chrome Chastity Device” and “Spiderwire”). The vendor asserts they sell “All bankrupt stock and all at reduced prices,” which seems plausible. I am not certain if these are copies of popular Western models produced cheaply in China, but I certainly do not assert that they aren’t. Payment proceeded smoothly enough, although the PayPal contact (steve@something) was unreachable because their domain name had expired. The price matched our agreement, as did the delivery terms. The products: To begin with, the units appear attractive. They feature a smooth chrome finish without rough edges. However, I am unsure whether nickel is present in the plating and if they are safe for those with nickel allergies. Or perhaps more intriguingly, do these specific items trigger that reaction? --------- Spiderthingy ----------- Upon closer inspection, I noticed rust-like spots within the guide holes of the spiderthingy. Some might argue this confirms it is made of… well, metal. Those more technically inclined might suspect iron. My earlier guesses seem likely correct (I hold a master’s degree; while metallurgy wasn’t my sole focus, I did study some of it). Yesterday morning, after removing my Birdlocked (which shows no rust), I put on the spiderthingy. I don’t remember all my exact measurements, but one figure sticks in my mind: “17 cm”. The base ring diameter is likely 45mm, which gives me a fairly snug fit—not too constricting yet quite unforgiving. I had some difficulty aligning the cage’s guide pins with the holes in the base ring, but after careful twisting and turning, I secured everything and click went the lock (which was included in the package). The device looks as formidable as it appears (see the linked community page where you can see my… well. her member and the new device). The Abus lock isn’t supplied with the unit itself, but a different brand is provided), ensuring no escape and no unauthorized pleasure. Cleaning up after a day of dripping precum was straightforward: just roll back the foreskin and rinse directly under the showerhead. One must be careful not to overjoy^H^H^Hdo the cleaning properly, but you get my point. When flaccid, only half of my willie fills the cage, making it possible to enjoy some pleasure by moving the cage forward and back (you might guess how silly I feel typing this… Is shifting a bit of flesh really so significant?). How much pleasure? Hard to say, as my member quickly filled the space, leaving little reason to continue this newfound game. I slept with the unit attached without major issues, aside from some minor pain caused by scrotal skin bunching up between the ring and cage. I suppose I can tolerate that if necessary. Removing it for intercourse went smoothly. The sex itself… was not uneventful, though that is another tale entirely. Verdict: Affordable junk, but usable provided I don’t develop a nickel allergy. If I do, my assessment may change. --------- Chrome thingy ----------- Looks splendid but fails to function properly. Firstly, with the standard lock, extracting the member isn’t trivial; essentially, it slips out on its own. After enlarging the hole for a larger lock and still facing this issue, I gave up. The manufacturing quality might be decent, though I lacked specimens to confirm. My unit has a loose hinge that catches skin for surprise pain, and the cage hole meant for the base ring halves is too wide. These halves shift, allowing skin to get caught between them, causing trouble. The base ring sits very loosely relative to the cage; again, you not only can but will end up with skin in wrong places, leading to discomfort. Verdict: Simply junk. It may be fixable, and I likely will attempt it. Overall, these devices might help determine what a wearer truly desires (except for the Chrome thingy, which is painful and nonfunctional).
