CB Range discussion

Apologies for nagging everyone again, but I’m still hunting down some answers. My setup includes the CB6000 with its biggest ring and spacer combo. I’ve tested just about every lubricant under the sun around that ring, though A&D ointment turns out to be my favorite. The catch is this: evenings are fine for me. Sleep isn’t a problem at all, but mornings bring near-unbearable discomfort because of the sting in my scrotum. My real question is whether others have just had to push through it and if it eventually gets better with time? Or is this simply permanent wear-and-tear? I suspect that upon waking, my testicles are retracting upward into the cage, causing all the trouble, so perhaps constant use will gradually loosen things up. Am I guessing correctly?
