When outside of a relationship, what motivates men to engage in chastity? If there is no partner directly benefiting from it, why do so many guys choose to lock themselves up and seek out keyholders with whom they share no real-life connection? Do self-lockers construct a ‘fantasy persona’ that they serve to heighten the reality of the experience, or does the physical restriction alone suffice?
