Birdlocked discussion

The locking post holding my Birdlocked Mini is about to snap, and since I have a full machine shop available at my college, I planned to make a new one from solid steel. Considering that money is a bit tight right now, I thought I’d check if anyone wanted to buy any extras… I was thinking around $20 + shipping, and the final result should be nearly identical in dimensions to the stock plastic ones, except maybe the locking hole would sit about 1/16” lower to account for some of the free space between the lock and the plastic strips (I can do custom orders if you like)… Please let me know if you’re interested by PM’ing me, AND reply here confirming that you sent a PM because somehow this forum fails to send email notifications for them, and I don’t have quite enough spare time to spend on forums as much as I’d prefer… Feel free to post any questions, comments, or concerns too… p.s. international orders shouldn’t be an issue either, provided I don’t have to worry about currency exchange rates or similar things.
