Mature Metal discussion

First off, I have to mention how great this item is. The craftsmanship is nearly artistic, though it might be hard to put into words—let your imagination fill in the rest. My main query: which padlock works best? I attempted with one from my CB3000, but it wouldn’t latch properly. A TSA style worked okay too, yet its corners are quite sharp. Any suggestions?
