Mature Metal discussion

Has anyone else experienced sensitivity issues with the Jailbird’s open style? The device is gorgeous, but I worry that its exposed areas might be too sensitive when they rub against fabric. With my CB-6000s, if it isn’t fitted correctly, some parts show through the urinary opening and honestly, it causes pain. Just looking for input. I’m undecided between the Jailbird and Pet Trap. The closed look of the Pet Trap appeals to me because it seems more protective, while the Jailbird is simpler to clean and appears quite popular.
