PA5000 discussion

I previously owned the PA5000 in the biggest cage available. I assumed the extra room would help keep my skin fresh, but after several days, my piercing site became quite sensitive. The modifications I made to the cage eventually rendered it unusable. Despite loving the concept of the PA5000, I couldn’t resist giving it another shot. I purchased the next size smaller, and now it feels much more secure even when soft. To date, I haven’t experienced any tenderness. My plan is to wear it extensively before handing over the key, just in case I need it back. I’m curious if anyone else has dealt with a tender piercing while wearing this device, and how they managed it. Any insights would be appreciated in case my situation returns. My piercing size is 2ga.
