After years of searching for a device that offers both comfort and security, I placed my order for the Lori #2D this past January.

Metal cock rings do not sit perfectly flush against the body; they slide partway down the penis when flaccid. Therefore, the length measurement needed for a custom metal device isn’t just the actual anatomical length (from torso to tip along the top). Instead, I found it necessary to wear a fairly heavy cock ring and see where it settles. The required measurement is then taken from the back of that cock ring to the tip of the penis. This specific length should be communicated to the manufacturer (Ms Lori in this case), indicating the distance needed from the rear of the ball-ring to the front of the cage.

Providing this measurement, rather than the full penile length typically used for a standard cage, ensures that when fully flaccid, there is no excessive tension on the piercing.

This is my theory, and it appears to be holding up so far. I will update you if using this method causes issues elsewhere, such as with nighttime erections.
