Female led relationships discussion

Apologies if I posted this in the wrong section. I am wondering if anyone has tips on how to help my girlfriend become the lead in our relationship. It would be wonderful if she assumed a more Femdom role, as I have fantasized about that for a very long time lately. Reading online articles recently, most people suggest “just tell her”. Is it really that simple? Would she accept it? I am hoping someone has ideas on how to determine if she possesses a dominant side because I receive mixed signals from her that could go either way. Sorry if this is not the best question. I just do not know how to approach it or what the right words are. The desire to be submissive is growing within me. It is almost reaching a point where our sexual connection no longer feels fun and exciting for me, and I feel submitting to her would improve things significantly.
