The concept behind this thread is twofold: if I’m going to post here, people will get a sense of my story and where I’m coming from, plus simply writing it out should be therapeutic for me. That’s always beneficial.
I won’t dump everything at once—though there isn’t that much—but rather let it unfold in phases so I can reflect as best I can on what these experiences mean to who I am today.
Like most people into alternative sexual lifestyles, my history goes back to childhood. Growing up in the 90s, I was the tech whiz of the house when the Internet started becoming commonplace. By fifth or sixth grade, I knew something set me apart after discovering internet porn and realizing that FemDom themed pages gave me the strongest reaction. As said before, any kid my age with similar kinks likely shares this true story.
But it remained just fantasy masturbation for me until around 2006 when I turned twenty-one. It wasn’t a full plunge into anything new, but I met someone online in an entirely non-sexual web forum and fell hard for her. We connected well, and it became obvious she was drawn to things slightly outside the norm too. Ultimately, she wasn’t exactly what I sought, yet she certainly opened my eyes to possibilities if only I were more honest with myself.
More about her is coming in my next post.
