Female led relationships discussion

To start with, I want to outline the background before posing my query. Last week SHMBO permitted me to shave my legs (from waist down) for the first time in history, and I absolutely love it! They appear so smooth and feminine, yet also stronger and more defined. I have politely asked to keep them shaved until at least New Year’s Day. However, SHMBO isn’t entirely sure she likes it and hasn’t granted full approval for me to stay completely shaven. My reasoning is that to her, this is a new thing—perhaps something external can use as a hint about our private dynamic. I replied that I don’t care much for outside opinions; my goal is solely her satisfaction and happiness. Also, earlier this summer before we shifted dynamics, she inquired about turning the spare bedroom into an office/peaceful retreat for herself. I agreed to let her have it if SHE cleared out the clutter (it had served as overflow storage for a few years). If she had simply ordered me to clear it, I would have done so without grumbling and likely already had… Tonight, I knelt respectfully next to her and “proposed” an exchange. I will handle the cleanup and remodel the spare room into her office if she lets me stay clean-shaven until New Year’s or longer at her discretion. She currently enjoys my smooth privates front and back but was initially hesitant about that too. Am I overstepping by making this “proposal”, or is communicating boundaries and trading favors acceptable in our relationship? Am I topping from the bottom, or is it a fair offer?
