During weekdays in the evening, I frequently chat with Del, my oldest and dearest friend. We’ve been close since parochial school days, shared a home during college, and have stayed connected through all the years that followed. There is hardly anything we don’t know about one another. So, I let him in on my recent fascination with chastity. Del isn’t new to kink; he’s among the most sexually aware people I know, yet chastity baffles him somewhat. Still, if it works for me, he accepts it easily and observes our naked ape antics with an anthropologist’s curiosity. The other night Del mentioned that male chastity was on his mind at his local neighborhood bar, leaving his drinking buddies astonished. While he might not personally desire chastity himself, he certainly knows of it. For those particular guys in the bar, however, the concept wasn’t part of their mental map. They kept insisting Del was pulling their leg. Their disbelief was genuine, though they had suffered enough losses to him in bets that there was nothing left for them but endure.
