Three of the last four men arrived already in costume
- Hoping to find
- a man who can say what he wants without a script over the top of it
- Experience
- One relationship of three years with me leading. Eight months single.
- Somewhere around
- the west, London
Three of the last four men who wrote to me arrived fully costumed. A title in the opening line, a script for how our first meeting would go, and a paragraph telling me what I like. It is meant as flattery and it lands as being handed a part in a play I have not read.
Twenty nine, west London, I led in one relationship of three years and I have been on my own for eight months. I use very little of the vocabulary and I am not planning to start. When I say I want to be in charge I mean of the actual things. Money, plans, who we see, what happens on a Saturday, and what he does with himself when I am not there.
The men I take seriously write the way they would write to anybody they found interesting. They ask about the boring parts. They say what they do for work and whether they like it. Somewhere around the third or fourth message they state plainly what they are hoping for, which is the right place for it.
I am not experienced in the way some women on this board are and I am not going to pretend otherwise to seem safer. What I have is three years of doing it every day with somebody who was happy, and I think that counts for more than a long list of things I have tried once.
Not looking for a man who needs me to prove I am dominant. Not looking to be anybody's proof of concept. Not looking for someone who cannot speak without the costume on.
Answering a post like this one
Most people reading a post like this one are deciding whether to write to her, and then writing something forgettable. These three are about the message itself, and about knowing who is on the other end of it.
