I have a list of interests and I am not going to send it to you

I have a list of things I am interested in and I am not going to send it, because the list is the least interesting thing about me and it is also identical to four hundred other lists. Everything on mine is on all of them. Sending it tells you nothing except that I can read.

Twenty nine, Brooklyn, I work in a bike shop and I am finishing a degree at night, which makes my week full in a way that is temporary and finishes next spring.

What I would rather tell you is how I behave. I am on time. I do the thing I said I would do. When I cannot, I say so before it becomes a problem rather than afterwards. I go quiet when I am overwhelmed and I have learned to name that instead of disappearing, which took most of my twenties and one extremely patient friend.

What I want is to be led by a woman in something lasting, and specifically to be given responsibilities rather than instructions in the moment. I am far better at a standing duty than at being told what to do on the spot, and I would rather admit that here than have you find it out in person.

Not looking for anything that has to happen at a fixed hour on weeknights before next spring. Not looking to be asked for the list, because I will say exactly what I have said here. Not looking for a woman who wants more experience than I have, which is very little.
